My Ideal Place

My ideal place, would be a 3 bedroom, white house with a basement and two car garage on 5 acres of lush, green land. On my front porch, there would be a swing, where I could sip my morning coffee and gather my thoughts before the day begins. I would have a beautiful, abundant garden full of my favorite flowers. There would be a smaller garden where I would try my hand at growing vegtables, maybe some tomatoes, potatos, pumpkins and spinach. My back yard would include a patio with a huge grill, patio furniture, and decorative lighting because I love hanging out with friends and family. The backyard would also be home to a huge wooden playset for my children because I always wanted to have one.

Inside, I would have a decent sized living room because as I said earlier, I like to entertain friends and family. In my living room, there will be a fireplace because I have always wanted a mantel to hang Christmas stockings on.

The kitchen will be humongous with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops and have every appliance you could ever think of or want. the fridge will have double doors and I ways thought it would be neat to have one of the refrigerators with the freezer on the bottom.

My ideal place would mainly be a place I can call my own and I could spend time with my friends and family.

Rest in Peace Grammpy

My great grandfather passed away three nights ago. We kind of saw it coming, but we didn't expect it to happen so soon, and even though we knew it was going to happen it doesn't make it hurt any less. He was such a happy man, always laughing, and smiling. He was onry for an old fellow, too. Always playing pranks and telling jokes. He found it especially funny to flip "the bird", while riding his bicycle down the sidewalk. After my grandmother passed away (his daughter) then my great grandmother passed, we knew it wouldn' be too long. He would tell us how he has no reason to be here now that the two people that meant the most to him were no longer here.

The older that I get, the more death scares me. I don't really know how to feel about it. I don't want the people that mean everything to me, and that I've shared so many memories with, to just be gone one day. It also scares me because after awhile, you don't think of them on a daily basis. Just when you hear a song that reminds you of them, or maybe smell a familiar smell. I don't like that death is a part of life. I wish I could live forever.

Why shouldn't I go to work today?

Oh, I could come up with so many good reasons.

  • I don't feel good.
  • After my grandpa passing away a couple days ago, I'm behind on homework.
  • I need to go grocery shopping.
  • The laundry is miled up a mile high.
  • The dishes need to be done.
  • The kitchen floor could use a good sweeping.
  • I"m tired.
  • I should vaccuum the house.
  • I really just, dont' want to go.
We have been so slow at work lately since the summer is over and kids are back in school. We are always caught up and mostly just stand around. I should complain for getting paid to do nothing when some people don't even have jobs, but I have so much homework I could be doing instead.

Personal Credo

I believe in many things. Some more substantial than others, but beliefs all the same.

I believe that you have to create the life you want, nothing is just going to happen for you. You have to make sacrifices and mistakes in order to learn and figure things out. Things in life don't come easy, and if they do you better hold tight becasue it's probably too good to be true.
I also believe that things come back on you tenfold, you get back what you dish out. In other words, I wholeheartedly believe in karma.
I believe that fmaily and friends are the most important assets in this world and even though they may be the people we would hate to lose the most we don't always treat them the best simply becasue we take for granted their existence in our lives.
I believe that music can change the whole outcome of your day. There is nothing like listening to a song that makes you feel like you aren't the only one dealing with a certain situation and that if they can make it through, you can also.
& last but not least, I believe in love. I believe in take your breathe away, make you giddy like a school girl, blushing, trembling, love.  Relationships are learning experiences. You learn about relationships in general, but moreso you learn about yourself. Relationships help you figure out who you are and what you want in somebody.

I Deserve __________

A break. I deserve a break! Even if it was just for ten  minutes here and there, just throw me a bone! I'm exhausted and my brain is running on empty. I want to sleep so good that it feels like I slept for days and my brain reset itself. I don't remember what it's like to sleep that good. When I do get to sleep, it's about 2 in the morning. I can't go to sleep when Ri does since I have homework coming out my ears it seems like. I just want to be caught up for one night so I can just relax. I have to keep telling myself that it's all worth it in the end, but it takes everything in me to not give up sometimes. I just know that me going to school will benifit Rilynn and I in the long run. I just wsh that the "end" would hurry up because my poor little feet are in desperate need of an ottoman to rest upon.

I try not to complain too much because this was the hand that God dealt me and God doesn't give you anything you can't handle. Sometimes that's hard to remember though, I wish He didn't think I was so strong because I would love a hole in the sand to stick my head in right about now!

No. 14

I just want to give a brief shout out to Mrs. A for her link on her blog "Creative Writing Prompts". Sometimes, I'm not in the mood to try and think about something to write about. With everyhting going on, I just want to sit down and do my homework because I don't usually have much time.

I went to her "Creative Writing Prompt" link and I selected the prompt about going through your photo albums (I just went through the pictures on my computer.) and counting to the fourteenth photo and writing about how it made you feel. Ironically, I counted and the fourteenth picture just so happened to be a picture of Rilynn's father holding her, so I counted again and I landed on another picture of her and her father...I don't think how those pictures made me feel would be appropriate to write about in English class. So, I closed my eyes and put my finger to the screen and the picture I landed on was the picture of my parents holding Rilynn right after she was born.

I love that picture so much. The looks on my parents faces are priceless. My mom is just overcome with pure joy, and my dad looks as if he is about to cry. I remember my mom trying to get him to hold Rilynn, but he was too scared to hold her since she was so small. It's almost as if I can see my dad's mind going back to when he was in the hospital when I was born. Rilynn is a spitting image of me and he tells me all the time how it's almost as if it's me all over again. My dad was never really able to spend a whole lot of time with me when I was a baby since he worked a lot and I think he feels like this is his chance to make up for it by spoiling Rilynn.

The only thing I love more than having them as my parents, is having them as my daughter's grandparents. She's one lucky little girl.
